Newton's Burn Foundation Golf Charity

Updated On: Jun 04, 2008 (20:38:00)

Dear Local Presidents/Brothers,

We, the members of Local 1457 in Newton, are hosting a golf charity event in September to benefit the IAFF Burn Foundation.  We will be giving away a new vehicle for a hole-in-one, other awards and dinner is included in the registration fee.

I have attached the registration form [Click Here] if you are interested and hope that you will pass the word around your community and hope you can help me get this out to other fire fighters, EMS providers or law enforcement.  This event is open to everyone (not just firefighters) and all proceeds will be given to the foundation.  The event isn’t until September, but with space being limited to the first 144 people we don’t want to wait till the last minute to get registrations in.

To our knowledge, and those whom I have talked to @ the Foundation, there hasn’t been any golf event in the area for this charity.  We in Newton believe that this could be a huge success for burn victims and the IPFF/IAFF.  Hope to see you or some of your other members there.

If you have any questions, please give me a call.   641-417-9956 or 641-792-3347

Fraternally,

Michael E Crowe, Firefighter/Paramedic Specialist
