IAFF-Motorcycle Group - 2nd District Rally in Dubuque, Iowa on July 9-11, 2023.
(Currently. the State of Iowa doesn't have an IAFF- MG State charter, so we fall under the 2nd district) Tentative Schedule of Events: July 9 - Members arrive & social time from 1500-1800 followed by a meal at 1800. July10 - Group ride along the Great River Road 9:00-16:00 (approx) followed by a meal at 1800. Social time follows till ????? July 11- Members depart at their leisure IAFF-MG members in good standing with their current membership ID number- no fee Non-IAFF-MG members registration fee- $50.00 ( or join the IAFF-MG and pay dues of $50.00) Spouses/Significant others are welcome as well (Registration fee $25.00). They can join the IAFF-MG as an Associate Member and their rally fee will be waived. Location is: Best Western Plus Dubuque Hotel & Conference Center, 3100 Dodge Street, Dubuque, IA 52003. This hotel has a large indoor pool and poolside area for socialization!!
There is a Block of rooms reserved for us at the hotel under "IAFFMG". You must call to get the Block rate of $149.00/night. (563) 557-8000 and choose Ext 0 in the menu. (Don't choose "reservations" because it takes you to a national reservation center and they can't see block reservations!) There are multiple rooms types available but space is limited. If you are not splitting a room, please pick a single King or King whirlpool. Leave the double Queen and King with sofa sleeper to those who are splitting rooms.
We are finalizing our Saturday route and stops now. Steve and I are extremely excited to see you all in Iowa this year!
